  • Sustainable diets deliver synergistic benefits to global resources, environment, and health

Open Access•Xiaohua Zhu, Rujing Zhao et al.•ARTICLE•Applied Geography•2026

  • Elevated CO 2 concentrations contribute to a closer relationship between vegetation growth and water availability in the Northern Hemisphere mid-latitudes

Open Access•Yang Song, Yahui Guo et al.•ARTICLE•Environmental Research Letters•2024

The Northern Hemisphere mid-latitudes, with large human populations and terrestrial carbon sinks, have a high demand for and dependence on water resources. Despite the growing interest in vegetation responses to drought under climate change in this region, our understanding of changes in the relationship between vegetation growth and water availability (referred to as Rvw) remains limited. Here, we aim to explore the Rvw and its drivers in the No…

  • Degradation, migration, and removal of trichlorfon on harvested apples during storage at room temperature

Open Access•Changjian Li, Naushad Kayani et al.•ARTICLE•Food Chemistry•2022

Dissipation of an organophosphorus pesticide, trichlorfon, in natural and waxed apples during storage was studied. The results showed that the trichlorfon content in natural and waxed apples decreased by 85% and 64%, respectively, during storage. The morphology of the surface film was dense and regular, which resulted in a higher water vapor resistance and a lower respiration rate in the waxed apples. This indicates that waxing affected the dissi…

  • The anti-inflammatory potential of Cinnamomum camphora (L.) J.Presl essential oil in vitro and in vivo

Open Access•Shanshan Xiao, Hang Yu et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2021

  • Saponin fraction from Sapindus mukorossi Gaertn as a novel cosmetic additive: Extraction, biological evaluation, analysis of anti-acne mechanism and toxicity prediction

Open Access•Min-ping Wei, Minping Wei et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2021

  • Neuroprotection against cerebral ischemia/reperfusion by dietary phytochemical extracts from Tibetan turnip (Brassica rapa L.)
