The Care project – study protocol and pilot results from the Polish population
The results from the Polish ECPs population indicate a very limited knowledge and preparedness to evaluate and manage negative symptoms of SZ. The CARE study will explore the European ECPs' gap in knowledge and skills in the evaluation and management of the negative symptoms of SZ to inform future educational actions
The impact of neurological and cerebellar soft signs on psychosocial functioning in bipolar disorder
Our results suggest that even "soft" neurological abnormalities may have an impact on the psychosocial functioning of patients with BD
Divergent pattern of functional connectivity within the dorsal attention network differentiates schizophrenia and bipolar disorder patients
We have shown that altered resting state FC within DAN differentiates BD, SZ, and HC groups. Divergent pattern of FC within DAN, consisting of hypoconnectivity in BD and hyperconnectivity in SZ, might yield a candidate biomarker for differential diagnosis between both conditions. More highly powered studies are needed to confirm these possibilities
Polish adaptation of the Dimensional Anhedonia Rating Scale (Dars) - validation in the clinical sample
The Polish DARS demonstrated excellent internal consistency and very good validity. The scale is a valuable contribution to the psychometrics of anhedonia measures in patients with mood disorders
When practice does not make a perfect - paradoxical learning curve in schizophrenia and bipolar disorder revealed by different serial reaction time task variants
The limited response time SRTT variant allowed us to replicate the findings of disrupted implicit motor learning in SZ and BD. The use of this paradigm in further neuroimaging studies may help to determine the neuronal underpinnings of this cognitive dysfunction in the abovementioned clinical groups
