Impact of a mobile health intervention based on multi-theory model of health behavior change on self-management in patients with differentiated thyroid cancer
Introduction: Theoretical models of health behavior are important guides for disease prevention and detection, treatment and rehabilitation, and promotion and maintenance of physical and mental health, but there are no intervention studies related to differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) that use theoretical models of health as a guide. In this study, we used a microblogging platform as an intervention vehicle and mobile patient-doctor interactive …
ICC Nurturing Strategies in the Context of Sino-foreign Institutes
This paper discusses intercultural communicative competence (ICC) education in the context of Sino-Foreign Institutes (SFIs). Through an overview of the development of internationalization of higher education in China, the paper puts forward four strategies that are widely adopted to facilitate the development of students ICC. The four strategies are provision of ICC specific courses, integration of ICC in subject courses, integration of ICC with…
Insight Into the Formation Paths of Methyl Bromide From Syringic Acid in Aqueous Bromide Solutions Under Simulated Sunlight Irradiation
Methyl bromide (CH 3 Br) is one of the largest natural sources of bromine in the stratosphere, where it leads to ozone depletion. This paper reported the photochemical production of CH 3 Br from syringic acid (SA) that has been used as an environmentally relevant model compound for terrestrially-derived dissolved organic matter. The formation of CH 3 Br increased with the increase of bromide ion concentration ranging from 0.8 to 80 mmol L -1 . Fe…
