This issue, especially concerning both short- and long-term relationships, remains inadequately addressed, affecting these countries for risk management related to oil price fluctuations. This study aims to fill this gap by examini…
A More Effective Social Protection System for Older Workers
The phenomenon of old-age pensioners reentering the workforce is neither new nor unique and has been well-reported in several published literature. However, there are remaining challenges to this group of job seekers whose needs have yet to be well-documented from employer's perspectives, especially regarding decent work, legal landscape, and organizational culture. Our study seeks to provide a better understanding of the underlying causes of the…

As the prevalence of social inequalities has become increasingly evident, the implementation of social welfare policies in countries across the globe has faced considerable obstacles and has not yielded the desired results. In spite of the fact that social welfare policies are formulated to reduce inequalities in society, the recent increase in inequalities has raised questions about whether or not welfare implementation is appropriate to the soc…

The attitudes of refugee-hosting populations towards conflict-induced refugees are an important factor to consider when attempting to create an accepting and welcoming environment for refugees. Previous studies on this topic have primarily been conducted in the Global North context, leaving a gap in research in the Global South, especially in Southeast Asia. This study bridges this gap by examining the factors influencing the attitudes of a refug…
