BACKGROUND: A new community centre in a district with a high amount of equity deserving populations in Halle (Saale), Germany provides a space to design and implement health-related services that reflect the needs and priorities of local residents. Health information often fails to meet existing quality standards. Therefore, strengthening critical health literacy is essential. Open Access•Pascal Aubertin, Thomas Frese et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2023

    (1) Background: Fact boxes present the benefits and harms of medical interventions in the form of tables. Some studies suggest that people with a lower level of education could profit more from graphic presentations. The objective of the study was to compare three different formats in fact boxes with regard to verbatim and gist knowledge in general and according to the educational background. (2) Methods: In May 2020, recruitment started for this…

Case management is a complex intervention aimed at addressing a variety of health needs of people in their social environment. Case management for people with dementia is often poorly defined and insufficiently described. The crucial process steps are often not well understood. We aim to map and compare the key components, processes and contextual factors of case management programmes for dementia and to explore aspects of the interventions' gene…

    Open Access•Gabriele Meyer, Gustavo Meyer et al.•ARTICLE•Mundo Agrario•2022•Cited by: 1•References: 9

Open Access•Meg Perry‐Duxbury, Job Van Exel et al.•ARTICLE•Quality of Life Research•2019

The ICECAP-O appears to be a valid measure of well-being in informal carers for people with dementia. The ICECAP-O may therefore be useful as an outcome measure in economic evaluations of interventions aimed at such informal carers, when these aim to improve well-being beyond health
