Predicting Gender-Role Attitudes In Adolescent Females: Ability, Agency, and Parental Factors
The contribution of ability, agency, and parental factors to the prediction of gender-role attitudes was investigated in a sample of 409 adolescent females enrolled in a private, college-preparatory high school. Results indicated that ability and agency were predictive of gender-role attitudes, whereas parental factors were not significant contributors. Factors Related to Dropping Out of School in an Incarcerated Population
This study examined 1757 incarcerated felons to determine personality, social history, and intellectual characteristics associated with dropping out of school. A stepwise discriminant function analysis compared junior high and high school dropouts with high school completors on variables including the Wide-Range Achievement Test, the Multidimensional Aptitude Battery and the Millon Clinical Multi-axial Inventory.
