本稿の目的は二重労働市場に着目して,労働市場における仕事の質の配分構造と,仕事と賃金の結びつきについて明らかにすることにある.二重労働市場によれば,第一次労働市場と第二次労働市場の間では賃金水準のみならず,仕事の質も異なることが示唆される.しかしながら,先行研究ではこれら仕事の質の配分構造が二重労働市場,特に企業規模に応じてどのように決定されているのか,また,仕事の質を統制した際に仕事には還元できない,企業規模がもたらす「過分な賃金」が存在するか否かは明らかではなかった.そこで本稿ではこれらの課題について,効率賃金仮説に立脚して経済協力開発機構(OECD)の国際成人力調査(PIAAC)を用いて分析を行った
