Bu çalışmada İzmir’e bağlı Tire ilçesinde bulunan Doyranlı ve Hasan Çavuşlar Mahallelerinde kırsal yapı ve toplumsal değişmeler incelenmiştir. Kırdan kente doğru gerçekleşen göç hareketi ile birlikte ortaya çıkan değişimler ve bu değişimlerin tarımsal üretimdeki etkileri, mahalle örneği üzerinden açıklanmıştır.
