The aim of this article is to evaluate the effectiveness of feminist‐based interventions in the development of affiliation, competency, and empowerment in adolescent females. The clinician applied the “Heuristic Paradigm” as an evaluative method to illustrate the effectiveness of the interventions implemented within the group process. The model of intervention described herein is based on the development of a supportive environment between women and girls and as such may serve as the springboard to increasing personal and collective empowerment. Examples of group interventions and the assumptions outlined within the interventions are provided
