Decouverte a Hierakonpolis d'un exemple d'architecture en facade de palais localise dans le coin nord-est du temple de la 18e dynastie. Cela montre que durant le dynastique ancien l'utilisation de ce type de facade n'appartient pas qu'a l'architecture funeraire mais apparait dans d'autres constructions
