AN AUREUS OF GALBA IN ABRUZZO A find of an aureus of Galba from the mint of Tarragona has stimulated the author to pose again several questions concerning the Emperor's history and the iconography of his coins. This leads to consideration of the Emperor's personality and his probable participation in the stoic movement of Thrasea-Paetus , which was curtailed by Nero. If this participation is confirmed, it should be possible to understand better Galba's friendship with Helvidius Priscus from Abruzzo, who challenged Roman public opinion in order to bury the body of the Emperor
