An analysis of recent immigration from Korea to the United States is presented. The authors describe the historical background to this migration the process of adaptation and other social issues. A chapter is included on the demographic characteristics of Korean immigrants according to official U.S. data. Another chapter by Siyoung Park deals with patterns of settlement including residential distribution and mobility. (ANNOTATION)
