The anonymous Latin work Excidium Troiae (c. IV-VI AD) is a mythical text that narrates the Trojan War (from the wedding of Peleus and Thetis to the fall of the Trojan city), the wanderings of Aeneas and part of the Roman history, from its foundation to the reign of Augustus Caesar. Excidium Troiae has relative importance for the later production of works with a Trojan War theme, especially from the 12th century on, such as the translation made by the German Konrad von Würzburg, Trojanische Krieg. In this paper, we propose a translation of the excerpt from Excidium Troiae (4.23-32, 5.1-18) in which the mythical episode known as the “Judgement of Paris” is narrated. This translation is accompanied by explanatory notes and comments
