The elementary library should and doubtless will play an increasingly important part in the enrichment of a child's experiences and in his acquisition of serviceable habits of seeking information and facts. It is not within the scope of this paper to discuss the place that the elementary library should hold in the school or how the library should be used to the best advantage. It is true that at this time there are no data to the writer's knowledge which show the relation between knowledge of how to use the library and certain measures of school success
