It is presented data, obtained of the research called “the identity teaching of the teachers of the school of bachilleres of Chiapas”. This article analyses and discusses the reasons why teachers have chosen to enter and continue in the teaching profession, as well as the degree of motivation to perform, some ideas about this profession and its current training needs. An exploratory quantitative study was done, with cross design and implemented a sampling non-probability of intentional kind. The results obtained are based on the application of a survey adapted to teachers of high school level, It allowed us recover information about their conceptions which make us display and interpret how their identity is built as a collaborated workers of teaching, constantly exposed by changes in the education policy, social phenomena and, technologic development
