Η πλούσια συλλογή σκευών από φαγεντιανή που βρίσκεται στο Ελληνορωμαϊκό Μουσείο της Αλεξάνδρειας και της οποίας ετοιμάζουμε μια ολοκληρωμένη δημοσίευση, περιλαμβάνει πάνω από 1300 αντικείμενα, τα οποία στην πλειονότητα τους προέρχονται από την Αλεξάνδρεια ή από τις γύρω περιοχές. Στο άρθρο παρουσιάζεται ένας πίνακας των αγγείων πτολεμαϊκής και ρωμαϊκής εποχής, με ιδιαίτερο βάρος στις τεχνικές κατασκευής και στην τυπολογία τους. Παρουσιάζεται επίσης το πρόβλημα της θέσης των εργαστηρίων και του εμπορίου των σκευών αυτών, σύμφωνα με τα σημερινά δεδομένα
