He serves as an assistant editor for the Social Science Research Council's religion forum, The Immanent Frame. He focuses primarily on modern European intellectual history and in particular twentieth century German and French political philosophy. He is writing his dissertation on the origins and evolution of Raymond Aron's political thought, entitled A different kind of liberal: Raymond Aron and the origins of militant liberalism.
