In this article an application of the concept of Vygotsky's ZPD based on the evaluation of proceeding contents is reviewed. To this end, and taking into account the conceptions of dinamic evaluation or learning potential' s evaluation, and trying to offer a critical examination of these, we present an evaluation procedure which sets its goal on establishing what the student is capable of doing if he/she is helped by a more expert person
