This article studies the dispositio of Quevedo's love poetry in González de Salas' posthumous edition, ElParnaso español (1648). Focusing on the first section of the fourth muse, Erato, it explains possible correspondences with late Petrarchist anthologies: in its format, the range and ordering of verse forms, the number of poems or the multiplicity of women, whose names correspond with different thematic groups. Some Italian authors read and imitated by Quevedo (Boyardo, Bembo, Tasso, Groto or Marino) influenced not only the vocabulary and love themes, but also the structure of the collection. Combining such influences, and breaking with them on many occasions, Quevedo contributed to the renewal and destruction of Petrarchism, already waning during this period
