Transatlantic literary migrations today. A critical approach of the literary connections between the United States and France. The article studies a few examples of the literary connections (influence, reception, collaboration) between the United States and France, mainly on three levels of analysis: a thematic level, where the U.S. becomes a privileged theme for popular writers (i.e. Marc Lévy, Guillaume Musso), a francophone level (“francophone” authors such as Abdourahman Waberi or Édouard Glissant write between the Americas, Africa, and Europe), and an “imagology” level, questioning various French representations of the U.S. (i.e. Faulkner’s or Salinger’s influence on various French writers, or the French notion of an ‘American’ novel)
