A clients' satisfaction questionnaire was given to 135 psychiatric patients in a state hospital. A 6-mo. follow-up of released patients indicated no significant difference in satisfaction between patients requiring rehospitalization and those not requiring rehospitalization. The results were consistent with previous research which has suggested that clients' satisfaction with treatment services may be relatively independent of other outcome measures
