A photo map project in the Cartographic Laboratory, Queen's University is described. Its basic simplicity masks the thoroughness with which it covers many aspects of cartographic design, compilation, drafting, and reproduction. As such, it provides an excellent but compact vehicle for involving students of cartography in the breadth of the discipline
