Objectives: The development of digital technologies has brought about innovation in teaching methods in the field of physical education. In this study, we analyzed the status of digital technology utilization in physical education using keyword network analysis. Methods: We employed KNA to examine research trends in digital technology utilization in physical education. The analysis was divided into the network characteristics and centrality. This study spans 10 years, from 2015 to 2024. Results: The most used digital technology was "virtual reality." The use of digital technology has been found to enhance participants' "motivation," and facilitate the learning of "physical activity" and "motor skills." This use is acting as a "teaching innovation." Conclusion: This study is academically significant as it represents the first effort to establish a comprehensive knowledge framework on digital transformation in physical education through a structured analysis of digital technology applications. The findings reveal the current trends and key technologies, such as virtual reality and mobile applications, that are shaping physical education. These insights are crucial for understanding how digital technologies can enhance teaching methods, improve student engagement, and facilitate personalized learning experiences. This study provides practical guidelines for educators and policymakers on integrating digital technologies effectively into physical education curricula
