Background: Coronavirus is one of the most common respiratory infections in the world. SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV, two prior epidemics of coronaviruses (CoVs) that have been considered as major public health threats, are examples of past coronavirus outbreaks.Method: The current study included eighty-four covid – 19 patients who were attending in Al – Hussein – medical city, Al – Hayat unit, in Karbala and Al-Hakim General Hospital, Al-Shahid Hassan Hallous al_Hatmi Hospital/Al_amal in Najaf city; Marjan teaching hospital in Babylon Iraq. In period from November 2020 to march 2022. Results: the results show the levels of serum electrolytes elevated in mild group than the moderate and severe groups, and higher in moderate group when compared with severe. The study shows some correlation between electrolytes in blood gases. The study was showed positive significant correlation between serum ferritin and s. calcium in 5 and 8 intervals (r=.284** , p=.009, r= .261*, p=.016). Moreover there was a positive significant correlation between serum ferritin and chloride in the 3,4,5 and 7 intervals (r=.282**, p=.009, r= .420** , p=..000 , r=.291** , p=.007, r=.426** ,p=.000). Conclusion: The serum electrolytes show high levels in mild patients more than severe
