As Spanish National team coach, D. Vicente del Bosque recounts his life journey linked to sport, particularly football, in various tasks and functions, from player to national team coach. He indicates that both the coach work and university professor has in common a commitment to the education and training of other people. In this sense, he justifies why football is also school of formation, development of values, and what qualities we want for our youth, in these difficult times that arise in doubt and discouragement. He makes an extensive comparison of tasks of sports and from the University in this formative process, using the example of the Catholic University of San Antonio in this formative work at all levels
