Our analysis of the specific relation between TEAB and psychology has highlighted the more general problem of coexistence of scientific approaches that develop different goal structures. Any field of inquiry that attempts to obtain scientific status without placing truth-value as its highest goal creates an environment that is counterproductive to obtaining systematic, scientific knowledge Contemporary psychology is characterized by generally unified efforts at uncovering the psychological principles of behavior.
