This study examines the germination and growth of Argania spinosa (L.) Skeels in El-Keurt, part of the Beni Chougran mountains, Mascara, north-western Algeria. Seeds were soaked for four days, then stratified on wet sand from three origins. Germination was tested at 20 °C, 25 °C, and 30 °C in a greenhouse. The highest rate (93%) was at 25 °C for Stidia, versus 86% for Oggaz. At 104 months, 72.5% of plants survived, with a mean diameter of 6.5 ± 2.5 cm and height of 160.1 ± 40.9 cm. Irrigation lasted six months. The site is semi-arid with mild winters and 3.3 °C minimum in the coldest month (1997–2024). Fruiting began in year six. These findings indicate the species’ suitability for reforestation in marginal mountainous areas of arid and semi-arid regions in Algeria
