This study evaluates, for the first time, the effects of salt stress and abscisic acid (ABA) on Argania spinosa at the in vitro multiplication stage using the BiocouplerTM temporary immersion system. Unlike previous work focused on germination, this research examines the response of developing vitroplants to increasing NaCl levels (0–150 mM). Salt stress reduced shoot multiplication, photosynthetic pigments and total protein, and increased stress markers such as proline, MDA, and catalase activity. Application of 5 μM ABA improved growth, enhanced pigment content, and reduced oxidative damage. Principal component analysis supported these findings. The results highlight ABA’s regulatory role under salt stress and support the combined use of BiocouplerTM and ABA for sustainable micropropagation of A. spinosa. This approach contributes to the conservation of this endemic species and the resilience of arid ecosystems
