The Gramiere site belongs to a series of villas in the Gard rhodanien region that have benefited from detailed studies between 1995 and 2005. This site presents numerous points of interest thanks to its level of exceptional conservation. It includes in particular a big agricultural building from the end of the Antiquity with its original morphology the use of which will be discussed in the article. In addition, the site has revealed explicit traces of construction from the early Middle Ages that follows the occupational evolution from the VI to the X century. The fauna study (macrofauna, ichtyology) allows us to appreciate the changes in the meat based diet and questions the breeding practises in the region. The carpological study offers some insight into the agricultural practises of the site
