This article presents three cases involving men who sexually abused children. It illustrates the point that on a superficial level each individual appears quite different, while closer attention reveals strong “Don't Be Close” injunctions and histories of being molested as children as important variables in the treatment of each offender. Theoretical and treament issues of child molestation are discussed
