A transactional analysis model for consciously directing the creative process in business is presented. The four elements found in all successful endeavors are discussed: a dream, a plan, action, and follow-through. Problems that may arise in actualizing these four elements are described, and suggestions are made about how to resolve such problems. The article concludes with a description of three practices that enable individuals to be successful in maintaining the conscious direction of creativity in business ventures.
