The ROSCOE Educators Program is a comprehensive assets-based approach to supporting first-generation college students pursuing degrees in education. This paper presents the main components of this program—community meetings, faculty/staff mentoring, and peer mentoring—and links this program to existing literature. We argue that efforts such as the ROSCOE Educators Program play an important role in social justice initiatives within Schools of Education and address persisting inequities in the area of teacher diversity
