本研究は,描かれた絵の見え方を形作るための相互行為上のプラクティスを,会話分析の方法を用いて解明したものである.その調査先として,舞台芸術の制作場面を選んだ.そこでは,これから作ろうとしている舞台美術や,舞台上に投影するアニメーションに関するアイデアを,絵に描いて見せるという活動が頻繁になされており,描かれた絵をどのように見るのか,また,どのように絵の見方を聞き手に示すのかということが,参与者たちにとって重要な課題であった.そこで本研究では,分析の焦点を,描かれた対象同士の関係性の見え方が活動の中でどのように形作られているのかという点に絞り,E. Schegloff(1980=2018)の「予備のための予備」の議論を導きの糸としながら,分析を行なった
