Les statues votives en terre cuite, populaires dans le Latium Vetus entre le ve et le iie siècle av. J.-C., constituent une part importante des dépôts votifs étrusco-latio-campaniens. Ces statues servaient à la fois d’offrandes aux dieux et d’instruments d’autoreprésentation. La manière dont les offrants choisissaient de se représenter jouait un rôle crucial dans l’expression de leur statut socio-économique. Cet article vise à analyser les stratégies iconographiques et représentationnelles utilisées par les dédicataires de statues votives pour communiquer leur statut aux spectateurs
