The dossier “Music in quarantine” gathers articles and reports selected by the invited publishers, with reflections and experiences of musicians and music teachers, regarding the musical activities (pedagogical, artistic, and therapeutic) carried out during the quarantine decreed since March 2020 (in Brazil), when face-to-face classes and musical performances were banned because of measures to contain the Coronavirus pandemic worldwide. The dossier is divided into three sub-areas of interest: Musical Education, coordinated by Dr. Magali Kleber and Dr. Luciane Garbosa; Performance, coordinated by Dr. Sonia Ray; Musician's health and emotions, coordinated by Dr. Luciane Cuervo
