This paper explores the role of artists in socially engaged artistic interventions emphasizing sustainability and ethical responsibility. While artistic practices are recognized as catalysts for social change, their impact depends on long-term engagement rather than isolated events. Drawing from interviews, the study highlights the necessity of fostering safe spaces, strengthening community networks, and embracing interdisciplinary collaboration. It calls for a paradigm shift where artistic interventions prioritize care, active listening, and collective empowerment. Ultimately, the findings advocate for a shared responsibility among artists, funders, and institutions to ensure lasting societal transformation
