Saudi society has been undergoing rapid transformations, with women's empowerment becoming a key pillar of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. This research explores Saudi women's role in advancing sustainable development goals in the nation's tourism, identifying the challenges they face, and proposing solutions for their empowerment in the workplace. A mixed methods field study was conducted with 129 Saudi women working in tourism, supplemented by in-depth interviews. The findings indicate that these women face significant difficulties, including familial rejection of mixed-gender workplaces and the dominance of a masculine institutional culture. To overcome these barriers, the study recommends promoting gender balance in the tourism sector through policy reforms and raising societal awareness about Saudi women's economic contributions to this field. Overall, this research work contributes to discussions on gender equality and sustainable tourism development, particularly in the context of Saudi Arabia
