This article aims to identify and discuss how patients evaluate medical conduct and their interactions during the communicative event of a clinical consultation inside the office. The discussion takes on a textual and socio-cognitive character arising from Textual Linguistics (TL), under the bias of the socio-cognitive study of the text, understood as a form of social cognition. In this sense, reflections are developed more specifically on assessment indices through language in the light of a model of textual understanding, cognitive representation and social (Social Cognition (SC)) arising from the field of Social Psychology (SP). The corpus of analysis consists of the speech of three patients that has been extracted from the study by Lima (2016). The speech selection criteria were based on the identification and collection of data considered productive for the analysis of the evaluative stance taken by patients, regarding medical conduct and clinical interaction. The results indicate that the evaluation indices of these categories occur through phenomena of social representation and referential processes such as categorization, recategorization, predication, adjectivation, description, and others, through which patients make assessments double evaluations, both of medical conduct and of the interaction
