This article explores the educational processes present in the Umbanda terreiro Castelo de São Jorge Nagô, in Lavras, Brazil, articulating terreiro pedagogies, Black resistance, and epistemic justice. Using bricolage as a methodological approach, the research values ancestry, corporeality, orality, and community care as foundational dimensions. The analysis reveals the terreiro as a space of knowledge production, hospitality, and resistance to epistemicide and religious racism. The study proposes to recognize terreiros as insurgent educational territories capable of challenging the colonial logic of knowledge and affirming alternative epistemologies
