The First Abbasid period (132-232/750-847) holds a unique place in his-tory as an era in which scribes played a central role in state administration and social life. These scribes, who could rise to the rank of vizier due to their mastery of the Arabic language, achieved significant success in both admi-nistrative and literary fields with their sharp intellect, broad cultural knowledge, and effective writing skills. The contributions of Persian scribes to Arabic literature, in particular, highlight the central role of language and writing in the social and political structure of the period. Examining the scribal class during this era is crucial for understanding the influence and power of the Arabic language within society. This study aims to analyze the role of scribes in state administration and social life in the First Abbasid pe-riod by examining their administrative duties, social responsibilities, and literary activities. Employing a source analysis methodology, the research focuses on the distinctive features of the literary style used by scribes and examines the thematic content of the texts they produced. By revealing the intellectual world, interests, and multifaceted duties of the scribes, the study evaluates their impact on the social and cultural fabric of the era
