The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of horticultural therapy program on the sociality improvement of physically disabled children by applying the multimodal social skills training including of both social active skills and social cognitive skills processes. For evaluation, social skills rating system (SSRS) for children and teachers was applied to the control group and the experimental group before and after the horticultural therapy program. In accordance with the result of comparison between before and after program, the experimental group showed the significant improvement in all categories such as self control, assertion and cooperation at SSRS for teachers, and also had significant improvement in all categories at SSRS for children. However, the control group demonstrated no significant change in all sub categories except cooperation at SSRS for teachers and children. According to the results after program, the experimental group significantly improved assertion and cooperation except self control at SSRS for teachers, and showed the significant improvement in assertion and sympathy at SSRS for children, but no change in self control and cooperation as compared to the control group.
