He has published widely on the history of modern sports including Making the American Team: Sport, Culture and the Olympic Experience (University of Illinois Press, 1998) and Crafting Patriotism for Global Domination: America at the Olympic Games (Routledge, 2009).Jaime SchultzJaime Schultz is an Assistant Professor in the departments of Kinesiology and Women's Studies at Pennsylvania State University. Her research on gender, race, and cultural history appears in The Journal of Sport History, The International Journal of the History of Sport, The Journal of Social History, Sociology of Sport Journal, The Journal of Sport & Social Issues and others, in addition to multiple edited collections. She is the author of Qualifying Times: Points of Change in U.S. Women's Sport (University of Illinois Press, 2014) and the forthcoming Moments of Impact: Injury, Racialized Memory and Iowa College Football (University of Nebraska Press, 2015).
