During the archeological excavations on the Ochta cape there was a collection of a wooden items picked. These objects are dates to time of Landskrona fortress (1300-1301). The largest part was found in buried log-cabin, which was the base of tower, mentioned in Eric Chronicle. These items were constructional and household things (shovels and stretchers, barrels, scoops, stakes, and stalks) and parts of constructions (wheels from well, boards and stakes). Most likely, the main part of these items was transferred here by Swedish troops, another part was manufactured here. The biggest part of wooden items from Landskrona is very similar to medieval counterparts in Northern Europe and Rus' and from Nien town and Nyenschantz fortress. It testifies that the tradition of woodworking and its assortment were stable during a long time.
