Blossius of Cumae (Kyme), a disciple of the Stoic Antipater of Tarsos, was a Stoic philosopher who lived in Rome in the middle of the second century bce . He is mostly known for his relationship with Tiberius Sempronius Gracchus, the famous tribune of the plebs, who proposed an agrarian reform in 133 bce . After Tiberius’ murder, Blossius fled to Asia, where he joined Aristonikos’ forces against Rome before committing suicide in 129 bce .
