A strucon (structural configuration) model of Delaware culture is presented, subdivided into sensory, interpersonal, and cosmic emanations of an apical opposition called a paideuma. Then consideration is given to the origin and position of mediators within this cultural tradition in order to specify the process called "intrusion" whereby mediators enter contrast sets within the general strucon model
