The author compares the sparse and scattered literature published since 1963 on teaching undergraduate anthropology with the now classic Mandelbaum, Lasker, and Albert volume The Teaching of Anthropology to illuminate changes and continuities in the literature of interest to teaching anthropologists. An extensive bibliography is appended to encourage teachers of undergraduate anthropology to make fuller use of the experiences of their colleagues and their predecessors
