Esta dissertação de mestrado, intitulada "Estratégias adaptativas de duas populações caboclas (Pará) aos ecossistemas de várzea estuarina e estacional: uma análise comparativa", investiga as estratégias de adaptação empregadas por duas comunidades caboclas no Pará em relação aos distintos ecossistemas de várzea estuarina e várzea estacional. A pesquisa compara as práticas socioeconômicas e culturais dessas populações, analisando como lidam com as especificidades de cada ambiente, como as flutuações dos níveis de água, a disponibilidade de recursos e os desafios impostos pela sazonalidade. O estudo contribui para a compreensão da diversidade sociocultural cabocla na Amazônia e destaca a importância do conhecimento tradicional na adaptação a ambientes complexos e dinâmicos
