Resumo
This article explores the concept of "chimeric space" as it relates to gaze acts, drawing on ethnographic examples and theoretical frameworks from anthropology and phenomenology. Severi argues that gaze acts are not simply passive perceptions but active projections that shape our understanding of space and the objects within it. He examines how cultural contexts and individual experiences influence the construction of these chimeric spaces, highlighting the dynamic interplay between perception and projection in shaping our spatial awareness.
