In an article entitled « On Contrastive Perception and Ineffability : Assessing Sensory Experience Without Colour Terms in an Amazonian Society » (Surrallés 2016), I affirmed that the Candoshi (an Amerindian people of horticulturists, hunters and gatherers of the Peruvian High Amazon) neither have in their language a term to name the concept of colour nor nomenclature to refer to specific colours.
