This article analyzes the soundscape of three Sport Club do Recife matches with an almost exclusively female audience in 2023. A punishment imposed on the club provided a unique context to investigate how the absence of a male majority in the stadium alters the sound dynamics and behavior of the fans. The study is grounded in feminist ethnography and soundscape studies, starting with a conceptual review of soccer studies. In the analyses, conducted through participant observation and recordings of the fans during the three matches, we observed the persistence of misogynistic and heteronormative elements, such as chants with masculine pronouns and homophobic slurs, evidencing the strength of traditional male football culture. However, we also noticed a more welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, with fewer fights and insults, as well as greater diversity in chants and praises, with a certain hypersexualization of players
